FROM COMPASSION TO CLASSROOMS

TTh The Lotus School Foundation is honored to partner with the Little Roses Foundation to rebuild Tong Han Primary and Kindergarten School— bringing love, hope, and opportunity to underprivileged children in Bac Me, Ha Giang. In this remote and disadvantaged district, over 56% of families live below the poverty line, with communities regularly impacted by harsh weather and natural disasters. Tong Han Primary and Kindergarten School currently serves over 100 children from the Dao and Mong ethnic minorities, who are learning in a deteriorating, unsafe building.

The estimate cost of this school project is $28,922. The amount covers 3 new classrooms, each with an area of 36m2, totaling 108m2, concrete playground, and restrooms. The new school is expected to complete by October – November of 2025. Tong Han Primary and Kindergarten School is not just a rebuilding project. It is also a belief that when we build with love, we lay the foundation for hope and opportunity.

Grand-opening of newly built school

The Lotus School Foundation, together with our beloved partner, the Little Rose Foundation happily celebrated the grand opening of Tong Han Elementary School in Bac Me, Tuyen Quang (formerly Ha Giang). Nestled nearly 5,000 feet above sea level amid breathtaking yet rugged mountains, reaching this special place was a true experience, as both of our teams carefully navigated through steep, rocky trails and challenging terrain. Experiencing this journey firsthand deepened our understanding of the hardships faced by these disadvantaged communities and the immense challenges they overcome daily. This heartfelt dream became a reality thanks to the incredible generosity of donors and commitment of many kind supporters. We extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for making this possible.

It provides a safe, warm, and welcoming space where young minds can learn, grow, and flourish.
