Hearing the children’s laughter and joy while touching clean water is truly precious! Clean water is more than a basic necessity—it’s the foundation for health, education, dignity, and hope. 

Thank you, Phuong Le, Sarah Phung, and Ngân Lê for your combined contributions in support of building the water well that serves over 230 students at Ngoc Linh B Elementary School, located in remote, mountainous Tuyên Quang (formerly Hà Giang).  The students here are of H’mong ethnic origins.

After four drilling attempts, the school was ecstatic to finally have water! The water-well costs $1,400, and an additional $200 was used for gifts (candy and snacks) during the handover ceremony. We extend our deepest gratitude to our compassionate sponsors and LSF’s volunteers, for your kindness and compassion. Students and families will now have reliable access to safe water that will positively impact their daily lives for years to come.
