In countless rural communities in the mountainous area of Son La province, students spend hours each day walking to collect water, time that could otherwise be devoted to learning and play. Installing water wells at schools does far more than supply safe drinking water—it nurtures education, strengthens health, and inspires hope. Each well represents a commitment to helping children focus on their studies, grow healthier, and pursue a brighter tomorrow.

The Lotus School Foundation expresses sincere appreciation to our generous supporter, Mr. Nguyen Trac Thao of Colorado, for his outstanding contribution of $1,300 to fund a new school water well. With his generosity, the project is set for completion by January 2025, bringing clean water and renewed opportunity to the community.

Today, at Hang Lia School, our team celebrated the handover of a brand-new water well. This well is so much more than just water; it’s a source of hope, health, and opportunity for every child and family here. With clean water flowing, stronger bodies and brighter minds will grow, and a whole community will be uplifted. Together, we’re planting the seeds of a brighter future.
