Fuel the Fight Against COVID-19 Virus
The Lotus School Foundation continues our ongoing effort to help slow the spread of COVID-19 by donating face masks to the homeless shelters, community health clinics, and other organizations working with high-risk individuals. We have delivered 400 face masks and 70 protective face shields last week to benefit the following community organizations:
• San Antonio AIDS Foundation
• The Salvation Army of Hope
• American GI National Outreach Shelter
• Respite Care San Antonio
• Soldiers’ Angels
When we spoke with Sandra Betz at the San Antonio AIDS Foundation last week, she has shared that the clinic was having trouble ordering Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for their medical staff and patients. Our donation of fabric face masks, Halyard H600 medical-material face masks, and protective face shields came at the perfect time to help the clinic get ready to reopen on June 1st to serve patients. Together, we can overcome this challenging crisis and build a stronger community.
